Trey Star Farm

Why we do what we do!

"And into the field I go to lose my mind and find my soul." - Unknown

One of the most important things in this farming family's life is raising nourishing food not only for their family, but for others in their community. The hope is to grow more resilient food using regenerative and sustainable soil practices. This small farm is a full family affair!

Focus is placed on fresh, farm raised food that makes you step back and say "WOW". The kids get out on the farm and get their hands dirty collecting eggs, putting seeds in the ground and generally having fun getting dirty. The produce selected to grow is chosen for it's regional appeal and health benefits, and occasionally just for fun. One of the newest additions to the growing selection is Jerusalem Artichoke. This product was brought onto the farm to help diabetic customers and provide them with an alternative to the traditional potato.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is an important word to Trey Star Farm. They participate in the group, home delivery CSA offered by Shop Small Farms LLC and the children offer their own small CSA for friends and neighbors.
